I’m so excited to announce… I’m moving!!
No, not me… my business! I’ve had sooo many new clients coming to me lately and things are booming with That’s Loverly Photography. The only problem? No one can pronounce it, and I feel a lack of brand recognition when my new clients call and don’t know who to ask for! So…
is officially becoming:
I can thank the beautiful and talented Katie Boerema for that knockout logo (she’ll be selling her stuff soon, so if you love it as much as I do, stay tuned and I’ll post that info when I have it!)
Though this website won’t be disappearing, it will be static from now on…
Follow me at my new website from now on. Thanks!!!
I met Tracey a few years ago when she and I were in a small, wonderful Bible study with some other ladies from our church. That year I gave birth to Eleanor and she listed to my stories, prayed over my concerns, and rejoiced with me when my little bundle arrived. Now it’s my turn! Calvin is here, though a bit early, and he’s so kissable!
I spent a few hours at her home capturing his sweet wrinkles and smiles.

The Nichols family contacted me about this photo shoot and specifically scheduled it around their beautiful daughter’s first birthday. The shots of little C on this fantastic pink chair, surrounded by tutu poof, and smiling up at me… well, let me just say I don’t know how her parents will pick just one. She is a doll.
And older brother J? He’s such a hilarious little fireball. He was waaaay too smart to fall for my usual questions and “no really, don’t smile… give me a grumpy face” manipulations to flash his pearly whites. Nope, that kid saw right through me! But once we got talking he opened right up and had me laughing.
This family is beautiful and their children are nothing short of adorable. Mom and Dad, I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did!

Dustin and Brian are long-time friends of ours. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing their wedding and visiting both their boys within 24 hours of their birth to do newborn photos at the hospital… and newborn shoots at home for both guys! I feel like I’ve watched them grow up through my lens, and I just ate up the time with them! K is growing so fast, and S is catching up quickly. They’re going to be great buddies when they’re older.
Mom and Dad are pretty beautiful, it’s no surprise their kids are so incredible!
I met the Ricks family late on Saturday , aiming for that beautiful afternoon sun. It was still hot from the warm May day, but they were great and handled the heat well. The kids are beautiful and made my job so easy. We ran all over the park, checking out some great spots to snap photos.
Dad had such a soft spot for his little girl. I just love seeing daddies loving on their daughters!
Nikki and her daughter make a beautiful pair. They’re such a sweet mama and daughter and I loved seeing them interact during our shoot! Little M’s curls were so precious it was all I could do to not twist them around my finger! And her smile was simply contagious. I had such a fun time chasing her around the gardens and soaking up all the smiles. Her mom, grandmom, and I laughed all morning!
Oh… my goodness. These children are precious. Striking eyes and personality for days! The girls are almost exactly a year apart (2 yr + 5 mo, 1 yr + 5 mo) and they’re both extreme runners. Their poor mama was exhausted by the end of the shoot, but I got some great shots of the girls when they would slow down for a few minutes.
Big brother just graduated from the 8th grade and was sporting an awesome class ring and a big smile. His favorite class? Math. That’s my kind of kid.
